The day after Thanksgiving, better known to many as Black Friday, brings great holiday deals at stores like Best Buy, JC Penney, Old Navy, Sears, Target, and Wal-Mart.

For those who can wait until Black Friday to make large purchases, excellent holiday deals are bound to be available. Many holiday shoppers wait until this day to do most of their holiday shopping. When Do Companies Post Black Friday Deals? Some retailers “leak” their Black Friday ads to various websites well in advance of Black Friday to create buzz about their doorbuster deals ahead of time and give consumers a chance to plan purchases. Other companies wait until the last minute to release Black Friday ads, possibly in hopes of generating excitement about the possibilities and keeping consumers tuned in to their announcement. Either way, consumers should expect to learn about Black Friday deals no later than the night before Black Friday – the evening of Thanksgiving.
