Chili's Grill & Bar is an informal restaurant which is part of the Brinker International chain. The chain also owns and operates Romano's Macaroni Grill, On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina and Maggiano's Little Italy. Patrons will never be far from one of them, as they can be found in over 1400 locations across the United States, Canada and some International locations.
Dallas, Texas, was the location of the first of many restaurants that were opened by Larry Lavine. His goal was to create hamburgers with a Southwest flair, at a reasonable price. Lavine owned the company from March 13, 1975, until 1983.
The current menu features such favorites as Baby Back ribs, steaks, Big Mouth burgers, chicken, guiltless grill, Chili's cheesesteak sandwich, Fajita pita, grilled salmon, grilled shrimp Alfredo, three flavors of molten cake and chocolate chip Paradise Pie, just to name a few.
