Need quick cash? Considering a quick cash loan or an emergency loan? How can a person desperate for cash get the money he or she needs?

Overnight cash advances, quick cash loans, and payday loans are all too common in the present economy. People in a financial crisis routinely turn to quick cash loans or an emergency cash advance.

Unfortunately, if they are not careful, these loans and advances can make their situations worse. What's the solution?

Overnight Cash Advances or Loans

A person who feels he must secure a payday loan, cash advance, or quick personal loan should do his homework. The following steps are recommended:

  1. Determine exactly what the money is for and how much specifically is needed
  2. Carefully study the fineprint, including the rates, terms of repayment, etc.
  3. Map out a personal plan as to how you will use the money as well as how and when you will pay it back
  4. If possible, secure the services of a trained financial counselor. No article on the Internet nor salesperson at a payday loan store can or should substitute for professional, personalized financial advice.

Getting any kind of loan or advance calls for diligence and research. Consumers who do not take the time to be diligent and/or who do not exercise discipline and responsibility will be trapped in a cycle of dependence and desperation.

How to Earn Immediate Cash

Instead of heading to the local payday loan store for a quick cash advance, a person desperate for money should first consider alternatives. This requires out-of-the-box thinking, some initiative, and a little courage. But it's worth it.

A person needing immediate cash should ask this question: Is there something of value I can offer? The reason why is that most economies in the modern world are built around the concept of supply-and-demand. Consumers determine the demand, and the people that get rich are the ones who effectively supply that demand.

A payday loan or cash advance outlet store (either at the local strip mall or online) is there to meet a demand from the marketplace. There are millions of people out there wanting quick cash loans. As a result, there are plenty of places willing to oblige.

Anyone who finds himself or herself in a position where immediate cash is needed should think through whether he or she can offer a product or service, with which to earn that cash. For example, let's say a person needs $100 in 24 hours. He could go to a local payday loan store and borrow $100. In some cases, this may be necessary, but it only drives him deeper into debt. Alternatively, he could spend a Saturday raking leaves in his neighborhood. At $20 a lawn, five lawns would earn him $100.

Ways to Make Quick Money

There are many money-making ideas available, but here are a few to help generate immediate cash:

  • Raking leaves, mowing lawns, etc., in the neighborhood
  • House and/or garage clean-up in the neighborhood
  • Yard sale
  • Make (or buy) and then sell cookies, doughnuts, coffee, etc. at a local business, shopping area, school, etc. (Obviously, get permission first).

The more time a person has to plan, the easier it will be to earn money. The shorter the time-frame, the more challenging it will be to earn fast money. While there are ways to make money fast, it's always better to plan ahead.

Is it wrong to get an emergency loan? In many cases, a quick cash loan is the only way to get a hold of immediate money -- cash needed right away. But a person in such a situation must do her homework, find a reputable lender, and negotiate the best terms possible. If possible, however, it's best to get a loan that doesn't require repayment. And that usually means getting cash the old-fashioned way -- working for it, even if it means out-of-the-box thinking.
