- Shop local farmers markets
I made dinner this evening for a fraction of what it would have cost in a restaurant. Even with a luxury splurge, and a bottle of wine. Our grilled (sandwich) steaks (about half pound total for around $4.00)were on special from our favorite grocers, half pound of shrimp from the Chinese market across the street ($3.11) and pasta w/wild asparagus (okay IT was expensive but a treat and will last two meals.) Please take a look at my page and keep an eye out for my upcoming post - I'm interviewing the exec dir of the Massachusetts Farmers' Markets.
How about linking to my farmers market piece "Well Traveled Tomatoes".
Thanks!
