Yes, it's way too early for Holiday Merchandise! But it does seem to be set up even earlier each year. I thought it was even too early to see Halloween candy but it's out. I've seen Holiday merchandise at several stores already in my area - Ross Dress For Less and several other stores. We don't have a Wal-mart in Corvallis, Oregon as our city prohibits the store from building within city limits but we'll see how long that lasts!

These things do not really bother me. If the stores made be buy the stuff too then I would get mad. Call me crazy but, I love the holidays. I love Christmas. I even had the idea of decorating my house with Christmas stuff for Halloween and dressing a Mrs. Clause. I would pass out candy canes and hot chocolate packets. Christmas music streaming in the background. Ho ho ho ho!!!!!!

I'm with Samantha on this. I love Christmas and everything that goes along with it. Around July I start missing Christmas. It gets here soon enough and then flys by.

There are two local radio stations that compete playing the full-time Christmas music and they start earlier each year to beat the other one out. I love it.

I would dress up as Santa to Samantha's Mrs. Clause, but my belly seems to have disappeared.

Samantha - I think your idea of being Mrs. Clause for Halloween and decorating your house is EXCELLENT - do it! You obviously have a wonderful Christmas spirit that burns bright, I say share your enthusiasm and I think your idea for Halloween is really cool.

I think if they want to start letting people (like me) prepare for Christmas early, then they deserve my money.

Kudos to Walmart!
